It's all regrets

Private way of happiness
fizzy brains after midnight
our thoughts fixed on ourselves
slipping off your line of sight

we're so deeply superficial
and profoundly ideological

Our mums we forgot to thank
we can't say we are sorry
but if our lifes end on a bench
they'll sure still call us lovely

mostly prone to controversy
we deny all we can't afford
as illogical as it could be
we keep on praying to the Lord

we're so deeply superficial
and profoundly ideological

We never wanted you filled with hate
but all our attemps were in vain
you've called us simply obstinate
whenever we've tried to explain
