In a word…
Morgane always has been a name I liked and I would have taken for my daughter, if I had ever had one. But as I haven't, I decided to use this name for my virtual life.
Born 29th March 1968 in the heart of France, I moved to Germany when I was 21 years old. Since this time I have lived in Augsburg (Bavaria) with my husband and both our sons.

I always have had many hobbies such as drawing, sewing, working with wood,... even if my first passion has always been dancing. As I never had a really great interest in the painted art, I have not been influenced much regarding the technics.
I tried first the ordinary oil colours but soon realised that the use of turpentine was a real problem for the health of the whole family.
For this reason I turned to the acrylic colours, which required a great adaptation at the beginning. But I missed working with oil colours.
The solution came as I discovered the "water mixable oil colours". They still have the basic traits of the traditional oil colours, but all the brushes, sponges, ... can be cleaned out with water and soap. No need for chemicals anymore. They also can be mixed with acrylic colours, in which case they take on their charasteristics.
I have been working since then with this mixture of acrylic and oil colours, associated sometimes with collage and wax crayons. This, as an explanation for the term "mixed media", you will find under most of my paintings.
The lyrics
They are the pendant to the paintings. Most of them were written on the same theme like a painting, and were then integrated in the canvas. I chose English, because I really enjoy working in this language and because it seems the most adequate language for the modern writing.
I prefer to speak about "lyrics" instead of poems, because they are more like songs whose chorus has not been repeated in order to keep a fluid reading.
